The state of Pennsylvania participates in a federal program that offers healthcare options and services to individuals who may need a higher level of care or even a nursing facility. Living Independence For the Elderly – Northwestern Pennsylvania (LIFE-NWPA) helps individuals with chronic care needs to be served in their homes and communities for long as possible through an all-inclusive and preventative approach to care.
“Despite her issues, we couldn’t see placing mom in a nursing home. LIFE-NWPA allowed her to stay at home and give us peace of mind. It made sense both financially and from a quality of life standpoint. They’re awesome!”
Our LIFE centers promote independent living and have on-site physicians, nursing and therapy staffs, as well as personal care and socialization. We provide all medical transportation and transportation to and from our centers. LIFE staff even provides home visits when needed. Learn more about our Services.
